Namibia Demographics

Namibia is a country of compelling beauty and is known for its contrasting landscape. Its name is derived from the Namib Desert and the desolate Namib Desert is said to be the oldest in the world, with its towering dunes and breathtaking amount of space. The basin of the Kalahari just pushing in to the mainland, give this country a sense of freedom, generated by one of the lowest population density’s in the world, 2 people per km², creating the wide horizons and the clear pure skies.

For the more active and adventurous, Namibia has much to offer. Activities include quad biking, hiking, dune skiing, mountain biking, white-water rafting, equestrian sports and hot-air ballooning to name a few.
